Outside of Work

When Jerad isn’t working, he and his wife are busy raising three children and working on their property. He also enjoys snowmobiling in the winter, and "fixing anything & everything that breaks".

As Asphalt Division Manager, Jerad oversees the entire Asphalt Paving & Maintenance division, working with estimators and crews to make sure customers are happy and goals are met. His day-to-day includes a lot of relationship-building within the industry and with clients, something he enjoys doing.

In early November of 2025, Jerad took over the role in an interim capacity, and after a few months, that “interim” title was removed. Previously, Jerad worked in the asphalt division as a Project Manager. Jerad started at WRS in November of 2017. In the beginning, he was briefly a laborer on the Civil Construction crew building block walls on a parking lot project. He then had the opportunity to join the Technology Team as a UAV Pilot. After two years on that team, Jerad became a Project Engineer at P66, and while there was promoted to Project Manager. Since then, Jerad has worked in multiple refineries, on the outside civil construction crew, and even spent four months at WRS's Idaho division to help on a few projects. When he returned to Washington, Jerad stepped into a new role in the asphalt division.

What Jerad enjoys most about his work is the diversity of the work. Every day holds something different! The opportunity to work in teams and build relationships has been a rewarding part of the job.

To Jerad, what makes WRS a great place to work is the people. "We have an endless depth of knowledge within our company from experts in their fields. It is great when something comes across my plate that I am not familiar with and get that opportunity to work as a team to figure it out for the client. Those are fun and rewarding challenges."
