Outside of Work
When Evan isn’t at work, he’s tackling his biggest project yet: “learning how to be a parent” with his wife. They love exploring the PNW with their golden retriever and hope to bring their newest addition along on all their old adventures.
As a Project Manager in the Construction division, Evan’s main responsibilities are new project estimating, current project forecasting/scheduling, and interfacing with clients.
Evan graduated from Western Washington University in 2017 with his BS in Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management. In 2018, he accepted a Project Engineer position here at WRS without any background in construction. He worked in that position for four years, learning as much as he could about the industry, and was promoted to Assistant Project Manager. In 2023, after eight months as an Assistant PM, he became a Project Manager.
Between business school and his involvement in various sports, he quickly realized the power of working in teams. Throughout his time here Evan has been involved in a multitude of projects, and that team mindset made him a valuable asset to each one.
When Evan first started at WRS, he was assigned to a team dealing with an emergency slide repair project for the Federal Highway Administration. The rigorous submittal process and public work sector taught him the high attention to detail that he’s carried with him to every project since.
