FERNDALE, Wash. – WRS has named the 2024 winners of the company’s culture awards – known as the 3 Cs Awards – to be Joe Amarando, Daniel Epps, and Tim Greene, as announced at the WRS Christmas Party.

The 3 Cs – Character, Chemistry, and Competency – are WRS’s core values, and these awards help recognize team members who exemplify company culture.

Amarando, an equipment operator on the civil construction crew, was named the Character Award recipient.

His coworkers said: "[Joe] always has a positive, even-keeled attitude, and is easy to work with. He would help anyone at the drop of a hat."

Epps, a foreman on the asphalt paving crew, was named the Chemistry Award recipient.

His coworkers said: "[Daniel] cares about each person working with him, and he really wants each person to be successful in what they do and to feel valued at the end of the day."

Greene, the Construction Technology Manager, was named the Competency Award recipient.

His coworkers said: "[Tim] is always willing to help you get a better understanding of concepts you don't quite understand. He can see the small and big picture on projects."
