BELLINGHAM, Wash. – WRS has once again been named to the Top 100 Private Companies in Whatcom County list, as announced by the Whatcom Business Alliance’s Business Pulse Magazine.

For the sixth year in a row, WRS was ranked in the Top 30, coming in at No. 20. WRS has been in the Top 25 for five of the last six years.

Rankings are based on the previous year’s sales. WRS’s No. 20 ranking for 2026 (based on 2025’s sales) was the company’s second-highest ranking ever.

The list spans all industries in Whatcom County. By removing all industries besides the construction industry, WRS moves up to No. 8.

With 233 employees total and 214 in Whatcom County, WRS is proud to be a major employer in the region. On the list of top private companies, WRS ranks No. 5 for local employees across all industries. In the construction industry alone, WRS ranks No. 2.
