LYNDEN, Wash. – WRS was on-site at the Northwest Washington Fair and Event Center, engaging with over 400 students through activities related to the construction industry at the 3^rd Annual AGC Construction Career Day.

Throughout the school year, WRS connects with local schools to talk with students about a career in the trades. During the 2024-25 school year, WRS spent time with Squalicum High School, Bellingham Technical College, Nooksack Valley High School, Lummi Nation School, Cascadia Elementary, Mt. Baker High School, Bellingham School District, and Ferndale High School.

All of that culminates in being at the AGC Construction Career Day.

WRS had a team at the event working an exhibit inside with games and giveaways, as well as a popular exhibit outside where students could sit on an excavator and control the bucket.

This is an event WRS looks forward to every year to engage with the community.
