Outside of Work
When Andy isn’t working, you can find him spending time with family, working in his yard, jet-skiing, and “driving [his] amazing wife Dana crazy”. He also enjoys watching Seattle Sounders games, motocross, and NASCAR.
As Health & Safety Manager, Andy’s core responsibility is to maintain our overall safety performance as a company. This includes ensuring our policies and procedures align with and achieve our safety goals, supervising our team of safety professionals stationed across divisions, and keeping our OSHA rate and EMR low.
He is also very involved in our onboarding process with new employees and leads both the “New Hire” and “People & Safety” classes (required for every WRS employee) in-house.
Andy started at WRS in 2017 as a Safety Professional and was promoted to his current role in 2018. He loves people, and that shows in his work. You’d be hard-pressed to find someone who doesn’t get along with Andy!
